Shad Raouf, born in Kurdistan, fled to the Netherlands at a young age. After his study in philosophy in Nijmegen, he began researching the rich stories of the Kurdistan to better understand his roots. Inspired by these stories and authors like Paulo Coelho and Gabriel Marquez, he wrote this story.
